Raha Rastifard | Pyramid of Democracy

Raha Rastifard's Pyramid of Democracy is one of the works in the summer exhibition 2021 arranged by Stockholm Konst. A total of thirteen works will be displayed on several public places aroung the city. This year, Sweden celebrates 100 years of democracy, which also constitutes the theoretical framework of the exhibition. With her Pyramid of Democracy, Raha Rastifard wants to invite the viewer to try on different perspectives in relation to society. The geometric shape of the pyramid, with the three sides extending upwards, symbolizes a creative force striving to unite different sides of ourselves or different wills in a democratic society. 

 

The summer exhibition will run between May 28 – September 12.
