Simon Anund b. 1977
Simon Anund (b. 1977) has been working as an artist and designer for over twenty years. He works mainly in concrete, somewhat in the borderland between architecture and sculpture. Anund develops and delves into the physical properties of concrete, where he constantly discovers something new and unexplored. In 2019, he produced his first solo exhibition for Berg Gallery, "Matter and Decay", reflecting upon the concept of decay as a part of all life cycles.
Recent solo exhibitions include "Post Amorfa – About jerry-building and socially constructed emptiness" at Linköpings Konsthall in 2018 and "Defectus Occultus" at Skomakeriet Gallery, Stockholm. He has also produced many public works around Sweden.
